We offer our Clients prompt, effective, reliable chartering services in segments such as River-Sea, Handy, Handymax, and Supramax, amongst others.

Traditional destinations for grain cargoes from the Azov-Black Sea region are the Mediterranean ports of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, as well as the Asian ports of the northern part of the Indian Ocean. Our team has vast experience in these regions, giving us a competitive, highly advantageous edge in terms of decision-making, preparation, and performance of each voyage. Our competency and proven track record has enabled us to build successful business relationships with underwriters in Europe and legal firms in London, Istanbul and Dubai, allowing us to ensure qualified legal and operational support of voyages, and effectively resolve disputes, should they arise.

The mission of Navigrain is to search for the best solution benefiting the Client in regards to the particularities of each cargo, vessel, shipment’s destination, climate and weather-related events, whilst factoring in and weighing up the different circumstances of each voyage.

The mentioned types of vessels are operated in coastal regions of the Azov, Black, Mediterranean and Baltic Seas. The main benefit of these projects is the low draft which lets the vessels sail in shallow waters and call ports in estuaries and rivers. The above mentioned vessels take the lead in grain cargoes shipments from the Azov Sea region.

Over the last few years there has been a trend towards reducing the number of old fleets. In this regard, the building of new, modern vessels is gaining momentum. The new fleet mainly has 6000-8000 mt DWT and today there is a tendency to increase the tonnage of standard shipments from 3000 mt to 5000-7000 mt.
